For 180 Years R.E Tricker shoes have been handmade in Northampton. The year was 1829, when Master Shoemaker Joseph Tricker founded the company. Census records show that he was just one of 1,322 shoemakers working in the town, which had already established itself as the centre of the the industry in England.
This is the world in which the fist retail order's for Tricker shoes were secured. Now, five generations and 180 years later, it is still apparent that the great spirit of that age and the core principles of quality, innovation, durability, skill, style, adventure and success are stitched into every pair of shoes that leaves the company's premises in St Michael's Road.
